Well, it happened. I always told everyone that Will was going to stay in his crib until he was five, or until he outgrew it or until he climbed out of it.
Will has never been much of a climber. Until now.
We put Will down for a nap yesterday adternoon. I was downstairs on my computer. Rick was upstairs taking a nap himself. I hear Rick say, "Jode. What are you doing?" I yell upstairs, "Nothing. Why?" He says, "Why is Will standing next to me?" And then I said, "OH NO."
So the toddler bed conversion starts this week! And I am afraid our naps might be few and far in between. As I try to lay him down today, he was up and outta there in 5 seconds. I locked him inside his room where he cried and cried. Now, he's laying here next to me (in MY BED) for quiet time.
Ugggh. Lil man is growing up!
