Easter-April 8th, 2012

I knew Will would LOVE Easter this year. And next year will be even better. :) We had a nice visit to the Easter Bunny, which Will was NOT afraid at all. He is used to costume characters since we have "Godfrey", a dog at our church each and every Sunday. He high-fives all the costume characters, poses for a few pictures and then is on his way to the next adventure. HA. Here are a few shots of the Easter Bunny this year.

Practicing for our Easter Bunny Pix with Daddy! That plastic on the stairs is from our construction. I'm NOT one of "those" people. LOL :)

We went with our friends to the Easter Bunny in Birkdale. Will (2 1/2 yrs), Jagger is Kruz's brother (1), Ethan (2 1/2 yrs), Kruz (2 1/2 yrs)

Having fun with the EB!

This picture makes Rick and I laugh. This Easter Bunny was at Jagger & Wynn's 1st birthday party on the Saturday before Easter.

Here is the Easter Bunny at church on Easter Sunday. **HUGS**

And here is our church mascot, GODFREY. He was also at church on Easter Sunday giving out hugs to all the kids.

And then it was off to Easter service at church on Sunday morning. We hold our church service at the local amphitheatre, Verizon Wireless where have our outdoor concerts. This is once a year that we hold it here. Our four services all join into one service and it's a GREAT time for all ages. Before the service there is a HUGE Easter egg hunt. They also have all kinds of blow up fun things for the children like slides, bounce houses, obstacle courses etc. Try to tear Will away from all of that! Then we sit in the service and have a mini concert with our church band and after that, Pastor Jim White walks us through the Easter story. It was a fantastic service. We also offer baptism right on site on this day. We love our church!! We invited three sets of our friends to enjoy the Easter fun with us.

Various photos from Easter.
Having a blast on the blow up slide after church!
It was a quiet and nice Easter dinner with just Rick, Will and me. We sure did miss our family though! We had awesome 80 degree, sunny weather.

Oh yah, by the time Will actually hunted for his basket that was hidden in the house it was almost 5:00pm! The church and activities took until 1pm, then we went out for a nice lunch. As soon as we got home, we put Will down for a nap. He got up at 4:45pm. :) He sure loved looking for the eggs hidden in the house because each one held one M&M, his favorite candy. What a great day. Thank you Jesus. Amen.
