Minnesota Trip -Feb 8-22, 2012

Will and I took a little trip to Minnesota for two whole weeks while the home rennovation project was starting. We wanted to be away while they put in a floor, drywall and ceiling so we weren't in the way. I've never been gone for a trip for two weeks straight in my life! We sure missed Daddy/Rick though. He stayed back to work.

In two weeks, we were able to connect with family (BIG THANKS to Mom and Dan who hosted us for the entire two weeks), reconnect with old classmates, play in the little amount of snow, enter chili contests and plain just have FUN.

Like everywhere this past winter, Minnesota also had a very warm season. At the time we were there in the middle of February, they had a total of 19 inches of snow where they should of been at the average of 66 inches. I know this because the weather man stated that fact when we were there. HA. The temps ranged mostly in the upper 30s to near 40 the entire time we were visiting. Then, lo and behold, we got one snowfall of a whole 2.5 inches two days before we left. Whoa. But with that, we were able to play and have fun. Will absolutely loved it.
