Happy Thanksgiving!

We spent the turkey holiday with The Tureks who came down from MI. Amanda also joined us in the festivites! Yay.

On Thanksgiving morning, Rick and I ran the Charlotte Turkey Trot, an 8K (4.97 miles) in Charlotte, South Park. It was a beautiful sunny day with race temps around 50 degrees. We both ran in short sleeves. I love to run in this weather! The best part of the race was beating Rick by 2 minutes!!! :) It will probably never happen again but I'm going to eat this one up. I finished with 8:39 minute miles and 42.30 minutes. I'm very proud of myself. :) Will was home with Papa and Brunga Turek giving them a "run" for their money. LOL. We had so much fun and will plan to Turkey Trot run every year. I've been running for about 2 years straight and love it. It's seriously like they say, a runners high. You are addicted. Next up... Cooper Bridge Run. Here are pix from the Thankgiving holiday.

I'm way into Daddy's shoes!

Hello Grandma Turek!

Hello Papa Turek!

My awesome, most juicy turkey ever. It's all about BRINING.

Time to carve. Oh yah. Will ate more at this time than he did for dinner!

Happy Thanksgiving. We have alot to be thankful for.

Mmmm. Good eats.
