Praying

Each meal and before bedtime, we pray with Will. Our family meal prayer is this:

"Thank you for the world so sweet. Thank you for the food we eat. Thank you for the birds that sing. Thank you God for everything."

On our 14th wedding anniversary, June 28th 2011, I gave Rick a card that has a few pink pansies on the front of the card. It has been displayed close to the table where we eat and is in full view to see. Ever since that card was put up, during our meal prayer, Will keeps saying, "Flowers. Flowers. Flowers" as he looks at the picture. We now have to incorporate the flowers into our prayer or he is not happy. So at the end of our "Thank you God for everything", we have now added the extra line, "And thank you God for the FLOWERS!" :)
