Okay, so I'm a little behind in blogging. My summer days have been filled with many boat trips, swimming, the pool and running after my little monster. Yes, literally running! He likes to run as fast as he can, including on cement, which makes me VERY nervous. All boy baby. All boy.
Will and I took a trip to Carlton, MN at the end of June. We planned it around our DeLuca Family Reunion, held at Chambers Grove Park in Fond Du Lac. Rick was unable to make this trip because of work constraints. We sure missed him!

It was so great to see Grandma Con Bon, Papa Dan and Auntie Julie, or "Auntie G" as Will calls her. We had so much fun playing, cooking, riding four wheelers, catching turtles, kicking balls, ice cream cones, playgrounds and just plain being together. :)

We were supposed to originally camp in Hinckley our first three days but we were rained out so we canceled our trip. How can you keep a toddler at bay INSIDE a camper when it's raining the entire time? I don't think he'd be interested in playing board games all day HA! At least it finally cleared up for the entire weekend where we had fun in the sun and played with friends, family and pontoon boat rides. It was a nice break for me in the weather since it was close to 100 degrees in Charlotte. I welcomed the 70s and 80 degree weather.
It was nice to catch up with my BFF, Amy. We were even able to swing a blackjack trip to the casino. Whoop Whooop! Unfortunately, our luck ran out and we both lost in the end. It was fun to play for 2 hours straight though! :)

We also got to spend quality time with Dad/Debbie who were in town to work on Patsy's house, Auntie Bev, Auntie Marlene, Tammi/Troy and family. We also saw my cousin Becky and family, even Dan/Darilyn were in town! What a nice treat to see everyone so unexpectedly.

Will even caught his first fish on the trip. Awww. A little sunny off the dock with the help of Papa Dan, of course.
Last but not least, we had the Male side family gathering at Mom/Dan's house. We had a great BBQ, four wheelin and family pictures. We had so much fun seeing everyone!
