Will and the tubes

People have told me how tubes change your life. Since Will had his tubes on Monday this week, I was paying close attention to him and his demeanor. I am happy to report that I can significantly see a difference already in just five days! The things that I noticed are this:

• When we were outside, he was listening to the birds. The birds have always been there. But this time, he actually paid attention.
• When I turned on the dishwasher (which I do every single night), he stopped and listened and made a "oooh, listen to that" face.
• He's been in a really super happy mood

Coincidence? Maybe; maybe not.

He's not sleeping as much (about an hour less) but I think its because he's excited about his new ears! ;-)

I am so happy for William. I'm happy that he's not hearing like he's under water. That made me sad. We have our follow up appointment on Monday afternoon.
