Annika and Will LOVED the red wagon. |
What a wonderful Thanksgiving that we had! We were able to enjoy the company of Rick's parents who winter in FL each year. From Detroit to Stuart, FL we are almost exactly to the mile, halfway. That's nice because his parents can break up the long drive and stay with us for 10 days. Then, they do it on the way back in May each year. Will had a blast with his grandparents. He especially enjoyed Grandpa Turek reading books to him.

We also had a great time with my brother Branden, sister-in-law Rachel and niece Annika. Will had so much fun with his cousin who is six months older. They played until they were wore out. Luckily, they were on the same schedules for sleeping. Down around 8pm. Up around 8am and napping around Noon. It couldn't have worked more perfectly.
We did so many fun things in a short period of time. We hung out and played. We had photo shoots. We ran a Turkey Trot race 5k on Thanksgiving morning. We ate a big fat haas meal, cooked by yours truly. We played cribbage. We played games. We went to the park. We visited Santa Claus (a whole seperate story on that one!). We went for walks in the wagon. We watched MI lose to Ohio State AGAIN. We celebrated Rick's 40th. Basically, we thoroughly enjoyed being with each other. I am thankful for my awesome family. Sometimes we are just born awesome!
Okay, now on to the great pix. I will post more on FB. I hope you enjoy as much as we did.
Happy Thanksgiving. I am thankful for my husband, my son, my family and all my friends. Love you all!

They loved to sit in the chair together. Will would get up and Annika would pat the chair on the seat like, "Hey. Come back." |
