Mom & Dan visit --October 2010

Well, it happened. Rick and Jody took an all adult, all fun vacation to the Bahamas from October 7-11. We went to Freeport, Grand Bahama Island to celebrate birthdays (yup--Rick and me are both turning that BIG number in November) and anniversaries with our neighbors and great friends. Yes, we missed Will so much but once you get there, you realize, "Oh this is what my life was like before kids?" ha. We had some great fun with our friends. And the resort was exceptionally special to us. Rick and I were upgraded to a suite (thanks to my Bahamas travel coordinator, Carmel) and each night, we were given something special. Like a bottle of wine and then we received homemade birthday cake.

On that note, my Mom (Grandma Con Bon) and Dan (Papa Dan) came to Charlotte to watch Will for us while we galavanted around the islands.

They had so much fun with their grandson. Here are some highlights of their trip.

First BIG BOY haircut! Not much --just trimmed over ears, gave some layers and cut off "rat tail" as Rick calls it!

We distracted him with Sesame Street songs. :-)
