Happy July 4th!!

How perfect is it when you have the fireworks basically in your back yard? We never have to go anywhere because the show is for us! Thanks Peninsula.

We spent the day with our friends, the Vaughans, Phillips, Balcerzaks & Gruber on Lake Norman. It was hot and fun. Then we hit the Younce's back yard annual 4th of July party for dinner/drinks. The fireworks started around 9:20pm. It was great times! I was curious to know if Will would wake up during the boom, boom, booms. I am proud to announce that he didn't make one peep.... slept right through it. And so did all the other neighbor kids. That's insane!

First, the weekend kicked off with a parade at Will's school. We dressed them in red/white/blue and then they walked the school grounds. Here is one of Will's teachers, Ms. Currie. In this crib is Nora, Nolan and Will. There was another crib with four others in it.

Here is a shot of Will's outfit. Thanks Aunt Rebecca for sewing on this tie! Looks super fab.

Aunt Rebecca also made this great dress for Micayla too. It's made from bandanas. How original and cute! And Will stole his girlfriend, Micayla's wubbanub pacifier! They decided to take a suck or two and then pass it back and forth.

This is how great the fireworks are. This is no zoom. The show is directly over our head. Awesome.
Happy Birthday America!
