New Years and The Johnsons visit!

After Papa, Grandma and Auntie Julie left Charlotte, we had a two day break to "turn" the house and prepare for our next set of guests. I call my place the "Turek B&B". HAHA. Seriously though, it's SO NICE to have family make the long haul down here to visit us. We are so blessed.

Annika and Will had a blast together, as usual. They are six months apart in age and basically now, that seperation doesn't even matter. They were best buds the entire trip while totally copying each other, wanting to do the same things together, jumping, running and just being kids. We as parents really get a kick out of watching the kiddos play together. And soon before you know it, Henrik will be right in there with the best of them. He and Will are only 1 year; 10 months apart and when they get a bit older, that age difference won't mean a thing. Rachel asked me if I think Will and Annika will be closer as cousins or if Will and Henrik will be closer. I thought about that question and it's a good one to ask! I think Will and Annika will have a special relationship but Will and Henrik will get into alot of trouble together. :) Annika will be the one to say, "No. We shouldn't do that." We can't wait to get these kids on skis out west! Next year, perhaps?! So here's the pictures from the trip. How do I choose when we took 400 of them??? LOL

Going outside as much as possible, enjoying the weather.
I love you Cousin.
 I
It's homemade PIZZA NIGHT! Do you know how much fun we had making pizzas?!

Discovery Place Kids in Huntersville enjoying a puppet show

Going for a ride on the big dolphin

One of the few cousin pix with all three kiddos. Aww.
At Robbins Park playing hide and seek with Uncle Branden

It was a beautiful, brisk 45 degree day. Nobody was at the park because it was "too cold." HA!

Brother and Sister

Auntie Jenna had fun at the park too! She was a big kid.
Henrik is such a happy baby!
The first thing Will wanted to do every morning was go wake up Annika. Then proceed to jump on her bed!

The adults had some New Years Eve fun! We had a babysitter, got dressed up for a "Mad Hatters" party in my neighbors garage. We danced the night away!

Happy New Year! Cheers.
All gussied up for a garage party. LOL :) That's how we roll.
So cute in their Detroit Red Wings jerseys!
We sure had a blast with all of you. Thanks for coming down. Next up... summer. BOATING on Lake Norman. Oh yah.
