Easter 2011

Easter was so much fun!! Not only did I have my awesome family here, Will was excited to celebrate in the holiday with us. Here are some of our highlights:

• Mom and Dan were here from Minnesota to celebrate. Yay Mom and Dan!
• We taught Will how to Easter egg hunt in the yard before the "real" Easter egg hunt at church. He did incredibly well and was so cute carrying around his basket. I think he was more excited about finding a prize inside the actual egg than finding the eggs themselves. I stuffed them with a goldfish and some others had fruit snacks. He couldn't wait to rip them open. LOL
• We took Will to the Easter Bunny in Birkdale Village the day before Easter for pictures. I really didn't know what to think, whether he was going to freak out like he did with Santa or not. When we walked up to the bunny, I acted like the bunny was so great. I was high fiving the bunny and that got Will in like flynn. That's all he wanted to do was high five the bunny now. Micayla on the other hand, was not a fan of the bunny. She freaked like I thought Will was going to freak. Great pictures though!
• We went to Verizon Wireless for our church service which is always so great. We love Pastor White who can teach like no other. And we had the special treat of the band, Need To Breathe, play a mini concert after the service. Will and Micayla had a ball Easter egg hunting. Thanks to Jesus for his amazing sacrifice to us.
• Easter dinner was hosted by Gary & Lucy Phillips. We drove to their house by boat. This is where we had a mac daddy meal (THANK YOU!) and then watched the kiddos play in the sand which then turned into soaking themselves in the lake. This included dumping buckets of water over each other. It was 87 degrees. Good times
