Here are some fun things to talk about and take note. I print my blog in book form once a year for Will to keep later when he's grown. It's kind of taking place of his baby book.
So here are some things that he is doing now that make me laugh and/or smile.
- When we drove to Charleston, Debbie brought down Mickey Mouse Clubhouse DVD for the ride down in case we needed some video action. Since he had watched a few episodes, he broke out of now where talking in Donald Duck voice. I will video tape it for you and upload to YouTube. It's frickin hilarious!
- On my fridge, I have these plastic magnetic letters that spell out the name W-I-L-L. Everyday, we talk about the letters and what they spell. Two days ago, I was holding Will on my hip and getting his milk out of the fridge. He then spoke and said his name when looking at the letters! It didn't sound exactly like we would say Will but it sounded more like "Whoooal". Go Will!!
- Lastly, he did a poop on the potty yesterday!!! I don't think I can count it because he was in the middle of a poop and I put him on the pot and some went in there. However, he has been telling me lately the word, "poop" and touching his bottom. We have slowly been talking about potty --he has some books, I have a child potty on the floor and also a child toilet seat that goes on top of the regular toilet with splash guard. Since he is showing signs of being interested, I have been talking about it more. He's only 19 months old so I feel like he's a bit young but we're going to take it slow. He doesn't understand the pee part but the poop part is working so far. Go Will!
