Today was Will's 9 month well visit. All went well. He's still 50th percentile on everything, weight (20 lbs 1oz), length 28.5 inches and head 45.5. He sure didn't like the Hep B shot nor the finger prick. After the needles were out, he was fine. It just breaks your heart though!
We talked about Will's non-crawling and the doctor was not concerned. He knows that Will absolultely hated tummy time (and still does) and that is the main contributor to his immobility. He tested him other ways and said no problem --he's very strong. (As Will tried to jump while he was standing him up. That's all Will wants to do is jump, jump, jump in his exersaucer or Johnny Jump Up. He loves it) His Momma (me) didn't crawl until 11 months according to Grandma Con Bon and then I walked a month later. I think Will is taking after Momma. ;-) Even though he looks like his Daddy!
Another thing that Will does not have yet are teeth. Every single day I think those suckers are coming through because you can see them in the gums. The doctor said, "Oh yes. His bottom right tooth will probably come through tomorrow." I just laughed and said that's what I keep saying. Eventually though. I'll probably have to suffer through six at once or something!
I took a photography class yesterday to learn how to take better pix of your babies/toddlers as new Moms with SLR digital cameras. I learned a whole bunch and am excited to start practicing. Here are a couple shots that I took for his 9 month photo shoot.
