Will goes to Charleston, SC

Our first road trip in the car!! It was a 3 1/2 hour drive to Charleston, SC for the 10k (6.2 miles) Cooper Bridge Run. This is the 20th largest race in the WORLD with 40,000 participants (running & walking). Typically, this race is the first Saturday in April but since that's Easter weekend this year, they moved the race to the weekend before.

In past years, we rent a house with 20-25 people on Isle of Palms. This year, however, we split our houses. There was the "BABY" house and the "PARTY" house. Of course we were in the baby house. ;-)

And boy did we have FUN!! There were 12 adults and 6 children (ages 6 1/2 mos , 7 mos, 8 mos, 13 mos, 15 mos and 3 years old).

There was a lot of playing, eating, drinking, hanging out and partyin. There was one person of each couple that ran the race. All the non-runners met the runners at the finish line for cheering and pix. Then we went to Tommy Condon's for beers and lunch.

Good times were had by all!
