Minnesota trip

Will had his second airplane flight already at five months old. He's gonna be a little traveler. The first flight was to MI for Christmas. Now, we went to Minnesota for Carlton Winterfest and his "Welcome Will" party that Julie/Amber/Mom organized. The party was to take place of my canceled shower from last summer. First the highlights of the trip to Minnesota and then I'll make another post of the Welcome Will party.

And he met his cousin, Braxdyn who is 3 1/2 weeks older. They had fun together.


And he LOVES his Auntie Julie!! She can make him smile & laugh on demand.



And he met his friend, Adam Bergstrom (he is almost 3). He is the son of my BFF from high school (Amy Bergstrom):


And guess who won the chili contest???? Yep, Con Bon. This is her third time winning --she is the only one who has her name as a winner, three times. The last win was 1997 & 1998, consecutively. She was SOOO EXCITED. And guess what else? Julie (last year's winner) and I didn't place! I think something was rigged on this one. haha. Julie entered the same exact recipe as last year too. And my chili was crazy good. I don't understand. I did, however, put corn and black beans in my chili this year which were not ordinary ingredients for me. I guess the six judges didn't like that. hmmmm. Well, there's always next year!! My Auntie Janet, pictured left to my Mom was 3rd place.
